Jacoby & Meyers Law Offices encourage students of all backgrounds who aim to pursue a law degree to apply for the firm’s annual Jacoby & Meyers Law School Student Scholarship. The selected winner will receive $2,500 to use toward fulfilling their professional goals in the legal industry. All applications must be received by June 15, 2021.
About the Jacoby & Meyers Law School Student Scholarship
Since 1972, the founders, legal team, and staff at Jacoby & Meyers Law Offices have dedicated themselves to the pursuit of justice. The firm distinguished itself with a mission to make legal counsel available to everyone. The firm’s founding partner, Michael Akiva, feels this scholarship serves as an extension of their earliest principles.

We created this scholarship to contribute to the continued development of such a community.”
Terms of Eligibility
Jacoby & Meyers Law Offices look forward to receiving applications from students who meet the following eligibility criteria. To apply for this scholarship, you must:
- Have maintained a GPA of 3.0 or higher
- Be enrolled in or accepted to an accredited law school
- Be willing and able to submit an unofficial transcript
- Write and submit an essay (500 to 1,000 words) on the topic below
- Complete and submit the application form
- Submit your application by June 15, 2021
- Agree to the scholarship’s terms and conditions
Only students who fulfill the above requirements will be considered for this scholarship.
Scholarship Essay Topic
The scholarship committee will place a strong emphasis on your essay when considering you as a potential scholarship recipient. Please give the essay topic deep consideration, then write an essay of 500 to 1,000 words for the committee’s review.
