About the Jacoby & Meyers Law School Student Scholarship

The firm’s founding partner, Michael Akiva, feels this scholarship serves as an extension of their earliest principles.
“We believe any community that embraces diversity and inclusion thrives on these principles,” said Michael Akiva, managing partner at Jacoby & Meyers. “The legal profession, especially, grows stronger and richer when a richly diverse community of professionals stands to represent clients’ interests in a court of law.
