OAKDALE, CA (March 26, 2020) – A 67-year-old man and an 85-year-old man were killed in a crash on Highway 108, right at the intersection of Atlas Road.
The collision was reported just before 7 a.m. California Highway Patrol Officer Thomas Olsen stated the 67-year-old man was driving east on Highway 108 in his red Pontiac GTO when for unknown reasons, he lost control and spun into the westbound lanes of the Highway.
The 85-year-old man, driving a Nissan Sentra, was unable to avoid hitting the Pontiac in time. Both men were the sole occupants in their vehicles and were both pronounced dead at the scene.
The highway was temporarily closed and CHP and Police detoured traffic while the scene of the fatal crash was cleaned up.
