PACIFIC PALISADES, CA (September 10, 2019) – At least four people were injured in a multi-vehicle crash involving box truck, between Chautaugua Blvd and Temescal Canyon Road. The site of the crash was right next to the Will Rogers State Beach.
The accident happened just before 8 a.m. on Pacific Coast Highway. Police are still investigating how the crash happened, but it involved at least three cars and a box truck. Four were injured, two of which were transported to the hospital in unknown conditions.
Police initially reported a fatality in the collision, but have since backtracked. Aerial footage of the accident shows one car completely totaled.
Traffic was backed up for miles during rush hour. All lanes were closed until 1 p.m.
