Marilia Ginsberg is an Associate Attorney at Jacoby & Meyers. Her practice focuses on advocating for injured persons. She handles all types of personal injury cases including, but not limited to, serious and catastrophic injury cases, such as auto accidents, pedestrians/bike , slip and fall, dog bite and wrongful death cases. When it comes to personal injury cases and her clients, Ms. Ginsberg believes that the client must have his or her rights protected and asserted to the fullest extent of the law, and that the compensation either through settlement of through Court is to be maximized so the client obtains the best result possible.
Prior to joining Jacoby & Meyers, Ms. Ginsberg advocated for over a decade on behalf of those who have been wrongfully harmed, working with civil litigation in malpractice and family cases and employment law cases. Upon completion of her LLM, Ms. Ginsberg was selected by The Department of Justice (DOJ) to serve as the Fall Intern for the Civil Law Division. During this program she gained experience working with discrimination and retaliation claims, criminal law and licensing.
Ms. Ginsberg obtained her LLM from USC after earning a Masters in Business from F.A.T.E.C. in Americana/SP, Brazil; Partial Masters in Employment and Labor Law and Proceedings and a J.D. both from Mackenzie Presbyterian University in São Paulo, Brazil. She is licensed to practice law by the State Bar of California and the National State Bar of Brazil.
