Victorville, CA (April 6, 2022) – Sam Garland (33) is a non-binary Victorville resident who was identified as a fatality in a pedestrian crash in Victorville. According to VVNG, the incident happened at around 7:30 pm on Monday (April 4).
According to officials, a vehicle hit Garland at the intersection of Mojave Drive and Condor Road. Then, responders arrived and took Garland to Victor Valley Global Medical Center. However, they pronounced Garland dead later on at around 8:10 pm.

According to investigation findings shared with VVNG, Garland was struck by a vehicle in Mojave Drive’s eastbound lanes. After the crash, the driver of the vehicle stopped and stayed at the scene. The driver also willingly cooperated with the authorities and their investigation.
