Anahit Kokobelyan is a trial attorney at Jacoby & Meyers. She is a graduate of UC Berkeley School of Law, where she developed a strong foundation in legal analysis and advocacy. She also holds a Master’s degree in International Private Law and a Bachelor’s degree in Law from Jean Moulin University Lyon 3, giving her a broad and diverse academic background in law.
Anahit was first licensed to practice law in New York before becoming licensed in California, where she practices today. She began her legal career as a corporate and real estate attorney, developing strong negotiation skills that continue to benefit her clients. Seeking to make a more direct impact on people’s lives, Anahit transitioned into personal injury law, first serving as a pre-litigation supervising attorney. That experience gave her a deep understanding of how insurance companies evaluate and handle claims, as well as firsthand insight into how stressful the treatment and recovery process can be for injury victims.
At Jacoby & Meyers, Anahit is dedicated to helping injured clients secure the compensation they deserve. She is passionate about personal injury litigation because it allows her to stand up for people during some of the most vulnerable moments in their lives. She takes pride in guiding clients through a complex legal system with clarity and compassion, while holding insurance companies and negligent parties accountable. Anahit is also a proud member of the Consumer Attorneys Association of Los Angeles (CAALA). She speaks Armenian, Russian, and French.
Outside the courtroom, Anahit values spending time with the people closest to her. Whether she is trying a new restaurant with family, planning her next trip with friends, or enjoying an evening at the theater, she believes in living life fully — the same energy and dedication she brings to fighting for her clients.
