A Los Angeles Motorcycle Officer Suffered Injuries in a 110 Freeway Hit-and-Run Crash
Los Angeles, CA (July 28, 2022) – A 110 Freeway hit-and-run accident near the 105 Freeway interchange left a Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) motorcycle officer with injuries. According to KTLA 75, the crash happened at around 8:06 pm on Thursday.

According to the Los Angeles Fire Department, a crash between a 2014 or 2015 white BMW convertible and a motorcycle happened on 110 Freeway southbound near the 105 Freeway.
According to LAPD Officer Hernandez, responders arrived at the scene and transported the injured motorcycle officer to the hospital via an ambulance.
The other vehicle occupied by two men fled the scene. The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department’s Sgt. Pereida also shared that the BMW suffered significant damage due to the crash. They also last saw the vehicle heading south on the 110 Freeway.
Later, authorities issued a SigAlert for 110 Freeway close to the 105’s interchange. According to the California Highway Patrol, they also redirected vehicles to Freeway 105.
Right now, authorities are still investigating this case.
