TEMESCAL VALLEY, CA (January 19, 2019) – Three teenagers were killed and three others were injured when a man intentionally crashed his vehicle into theirs on Temescal Canyon Road, near Trilogy Parkway.
Shortly after 10:30 p.m., 42-year-old Corona man Anurag Chandra purposefully rammed his Infiniti Q45 into a 2002 Toyota Prius heading south on Temescal Canyon Road. This caused the Toyota to then crash into a tree.
Three of the Toyota occupants were trapped inside while three others were outside of the vehicle. The 18-year-old male driver and four of the occupants were transported to a local hospital. Two of them died there, while one more was pronounced dead at the scene.
Chandra was arrested on suspicion of murder and attempted murder shortly after the fatal crash.
