TEMPLETON, CA (June 29, 2020) – Four people were killed in a speed-related crash on Neals Spring Road, just before 10 p.m. on Monday.
The fatal collision was reported around 9:30 p.m. on Neals Spring Road and Deer View Lane. The male driver of the vehicle involved had just passed a slower vehicle on Neals Spring Road at a high rate of speed, when he braked suddenly and lost control of the vehicle. The vehicle spun out of control and struck an oak tree.
One of the passengers, a woman, was ejected from the vehicle and killed. The driver and two other female passengers were killed from the force of the crash.
According to California Highway Patrol’s new release about the incident, “although the main causative factors of the collision was the driver’s high-rate of speed, additional investigation is underway to determine the main contributing factors.”
