Anthony Louis Avila Killed in Motorcycle Crash on Highway 101 in Encinitas of San Diego County
San Diego County, CA (March 21, 2022) – Anthony Louis Avila (63) died after he got hit by an SUV while riding his motorcycle on Highway 101 in Encinitas of San Diego County. According to Fox 5, the incident happened at around 4:00 pm on Thursday.
Anthony Louis Avila was riding a motorcycle when he collided with an SUV.
According to reports, Avila went southbound on the no. 2 lane of Highway 101. Then, he tried to turn left into the no. 1 lane, but an SUV crossed into the same lane after turning left from eastbound on Grandview Street. This caused the motorcycle and SUV to crash into each other. They also struck a parked vehicle on the road.
Paramedics responded to the accident report. However, Avila died at the scene despite receiving life-saving measures.
