Palm Springs, CA (November 7, 2023) – Erasto Dominguez-Castro (61) of Colorado Springs died in an I-10 pedestrian crash after a vehicle hit him while standing on the roadway. According to the Desert Sun, the crash occurred after 6:00 p.m. on Monday.

Erasto Dominguez-Castro, a 61-year-old Colorado Springs resident, died after a driver struck him while he was standing on the roadway in an I-10 pedestrian crash, as confirmed by the Riverside County coroner’s office.
The collision unfolded to the east of the intersection of Interstate 10 and Highway 62, occurring slightly past 6 p.m. on Monday.
The victim, identified as Erasto Dominguez-Castro, collided with a Nissan operated by an Arcadia man, whose identity remains undisclosed.
Unfortunately, the pedestrian succumbed to fatal injuries.
Meanwhile, the Nissan driver emerged from the incident unharmed.
Moreover, as of Tuesday, the circumstances surrounding why the victim was standing on the roadway when the accident transpired remain undetermined.
Furthermore, California Highway Patrol has yet to disclose if the driver will face charges related to this I-10 pedestrian crash, resulting in the death of Erasto Dominguez-Castro.
