LOS ANGELES, CA – The California based law firm Jacoby & Meyers is pleased to announce an addition to its team of skilled and experienced attorneys. Attorney John F. “Jack” Denove will be joining the Jacoby & Meyers litigation team as Managing Trial Attorney.

Although Mr. Denove finds being an attorney rewarding on its own, his favorite part is being able to mentor young lawyers. “For 40 years, I have been teaching and mentoring younger attorneys through seminars, but I don’t always get to work with them over a long period of time to watch their growth as lawyers. At Jacoby & Meyers, I will have the opportunity to establish long lasting mentor relationships with young, skilled litigators by coaching through to their long- term growth and success. At the same time, I will be joining a strong team of seasoned litigators, and that is exciting.”
Mr. Denove has been a member of the bar in California since 1976 and has extensive experience in personal injury, medical malpractice, insurance bad faith, products liability and premises liability. As a skilled trial attorney, he has tried more than 150 civil cases before a jury.
Mr. Denove holds several awards and memberships for his work as a trial attorney, but some of his most notable includes being selected by his peers for Trial Lawyer of the Year by the Los Angeles Trial Lawyers Association. He holds the designation of Diplomate, the highest rank of the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA). He has served as President of ABOTA (Los Angeles Chapter), President of the Consumer Attorneys Association of Los Angeles, President of the Italian American Lawyers Association and President of the Cowboy Lawyers Association. He holds a Bachelor’s degree from UCLA, and received his J.D. from Loyola University Law School.
