Pedestrian Lorraine Naranjo Fatally Struck in Whittier Hit-and-Run Crash
Whittier, CA (July 19, 2022) – Lorraine Naranjo (53) was identified as the fatality in a hit-and-run crash on Leffingwell Road and Corley Drive in Whittier. According to CBS News, the crash happened around 10:15 pm on Monday.
A car fatally struck Lorraine Naranjo and her son while they were crossing the street on Leffingwell Road and Corley Drive in Whittier. Authorities are now searching for the hit-and-run driver.
Authorities responded to a fatal hit-and-run crash involving two pedestrians and a vehicle on Leffingwell Road and Corley Drive in Whittier.
The Los Angeles County Fire Department found one woman and her son at the scene. They then pronounced the woman dead at the scene. She was later identified as Lorraine Naranjo. Her son was transported to a nearby trauma center.
According to authorities, Naranjo and her son were crossing the street when a car struck Naranjo. Following the crash, the driver reportedly fled the scene.
The California Highway Patrol officers are still searching for the hit-and-run driver.
