Vacaville, CA (June 3, 2022) – Quandra McGadney (51), a Caltrans worker, was identified as the victim of a fatal hit-and-run accident in Vacaville. According to NBC Bay Area, the accident happened Friday morning.
Quandra McGadney was working on the side of I-80 near Lagoon Valley Road when a vehicle struck her.
The California Highway Patrol (CHP) promptly responded to a hit-and-run crash report on Westbound I-80 near Lagoon Valley Road in Vacaville.

McGadney left behind a 9-year-old daughter and 2 sisters.
“When I heard that she got hurt, I expected to be going to the hospital. When they said she didn’t make it, it just was unreal, unreal, unreal…unreal,” said Pricilla Stevenson, the victim’s sister.
Authorities are in the midst of investigating the collision.
