Reports revealed that a woman driving a Honda Civic collided with a man crossing Standiford Avenue.
The paramedics then promptly transported the injured man to a nearby hospital.
However, he later succumbed to his injuries.
Meanwhile, the driver of the Honda Civic, 21-year-old Isabelle Fernandez, was taken into custody on charges of gross vehicular manslaughter and DUI.
