Police are also searching for the driver involved in the crash. According to CBS News, the police responded to the accident at around 11:25 p.m. on Thursday.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident occurred in the 54000 block of Grapefruit Boulevard, where an unknown vehicle struck a bicyclist, a 54-year-old man from Coachella.
Unfortunately, the victim has not yet been identified.
Following the collision, the driver of the initial vehicle fled the scene.
Subsequently, a second car hit the bicyclist, who was still lying on the road.
Moreover, the driver of the second vehicle stopped and immediately contacted 911.
