Sanger Resident Yang Vue Killed in an Alleged DUI Crash in Fresno
Fresno, CA (July 5, 2022) – Yang Vue (38) of Sanger was identified as the fatality in an alleged DUI crash in Fresno. According to The Fresno Bee, the incident reportedly occurred around 4:00 am on Saturday.
Yang Vue was a passenger in the alleged drunken driver’s vehicle. He died at the scene.
The California Highway Patrol responded to reports of an alleged drunken-driving crash in southwest Fresno on Saturday.
Then, when responding officers arrived, a front-seat passenger of the suspected drunken driver was pronounced dead at the scene. Authorities later identified the passenger as Yang Vue of Sanger.
The first responders also found the alleged drunk driver unconscious with major injuries. They then transported her to a medical center. She was later identified as Angie Thao of Fresno.
Meanwhile, the other driver and his passengers sustained minor injuries.
Further reports indicated that Thao ran a stop sign and crashed into a Nissan pickup. Thao is now booked on suspicion of manslaughter and driving under the influence.
