Alyssa Phelps Fatally Injured in Interstate 10 Pedestrian Accident in Banning
Banning, CA (February 1, 2023) – Alyssa Phelps (28) was identified as the fatality in a pedestrian accident on Interstate 10 in Banning. According to NBC Palm Springs, the crash occurred around 6:20 pm on Monday.
Alyssa Phelps was fatally injured after being struck by a vehicle on Interstate 10 in Banning.
The California Highway Patrol reported a fatal pedestrian accident on Interstate 10 in Banning.
Riverside County Fire Department paramedics promptly responded to the scene. Unfortunately, the victim was later pronounced dead.
Authorities recently identified the victim as Alyssa Phelps, a Banning resident.
According to CHP, Phelps was initially seen walking along the shoulder of the freeway facing oncoming traffic. Some motorists reportedly alerted the authorities in fear for her safety.
Then, for reasons yet to be determined, the victim walked into the slow lane and was struck by a red Honda. The Honda driver stopped and remained at the scene.
