Sacramento, CA (August 7, 2023) – A 2020 Freightliner driver crashed into a woman in an Auburn Boulevard pedestrian crash in North Sacramento. According to CBS, the crash occurred around 12:08 am on Monday.

The California Highway Patrol responded to a fatal Auburn Boulevard pedestrian crash involving a Freightliner driver and a female pedestrian.
According to the police, an eastbound 2020 freightliner turned right onto southbound Auburn Boulevard and struck a 60-year-old woman outside a crosswalk in the westbound direction.
Responders immediately transported the woman to Mercy San Juan Hospital. However, the medical team later pronounced her dead.
Meanwhile, the driver remained uninjured.
The investigation into the crash remains ongoing to determine the cause.
