Watsonville, CA (March 5, 2023) – Breanna Romero (26) was identified as the fatality in a head-on crash on Holohan Road in Watsonville. Three others also suffered major injuries. According to KTVU, the crash occurred around 10:22 pm on Saturday.

The California Highway Patrol reported a fatal head-on crash on Holohan Road in Watsonville.
Despite attempts at life-saving measures, one victim was later pronounced dead at the scene. Authorities identified her as Breanna Romero.
According to officers, a southbound 2007 Volvo crossed the solid double yellow lines and collided head-on with Romero’s northbound vehicle.
Both drivers had a passenger in their vehicles. They sustained major injuries.
The driver of the 2007 Volvo was later identified as Angelica Varon. She was transported to Natividad hospital for major injuries.
Police reportedly arrested Varon on suspicion of driving under the influence.
