Multi-Vehicle Crash in Santa Fe Springs Left One Fatality
Santa Fe Springs, CA (June 22, 2022) – Christopher Prudente (30) of Cypress was identified as the fatality in a multi-vehicle crash in Santa Fe Springs on Wednesday. According to CBS News, the incident reportedly occurred around 2:00 am.
As a result of the collision, one of the vehicles overturned during the crash, then one person got ejected from their vehicle.
Authorities responded to a report of a three-vehicle collision in the southbound lanes of the 5 Freeway on Santa Fe Springs.
Initial reports say that one of the vehicles overturned during the crash and then landed on its roof. Then, as a result of the collision, one victim got ejected from his vehicle.
The victim was later identified as Christopher Prudente of Cypress. He died on the scene.
Meanwhile, all lanes of the 5 Freeway are now reopened after the California Highway Patrol officers issued a Sigalert in the area.
