Lamont Resident Fatal After Being Struck on Highway 184
Lamont, CA (June 21, 2022) – Corina Aguilar (49) of Lamont was identified as the victim of a fatal pedestrian accident in Lamont on Tuesday. According to KGET, the incident reportedly occurred around 10:01 pm.
A vehicle headed southbound reportedly struck a pedestrian walking outside of the crosswalk.
The California Highway Patrol (CHP) reported a pedestrian fatality on Highway 184 in Lamont. A vehicle headed southbound reportedly struck a pedestrian walking outside of the crosswalk.
Authorities then identified the victim as Corina Aguilar of Lamont. She died at the scene.
Further reports say that the vehicle’s driver was reportedly headed southbound when he struck the victim. He was identified as Enrique Torres.
Meanwhile, Torres stayed at the scene. He and his passenger were not injured after the incident.
