After hitting the pedestrian, the dark-colored SUV continued eastbound on Washington Place. While the vehicle briefly stopped, it proceeded without identifying itself or providing aid. Authorities are now searching for the driver.
Meanwhile, upon responding to the scene, Culver City Fire Department paramedics pronounced the victim dead.
