San Rafael, CA (December 18, 2023) – Darolyn Alejandra Reyes Rodas (19) of San Rafael succumbed to fatal injuries at the scene of a Richmond-San Rafael Bridge crash where a vehicle rolled over. According to Kron4, the crash happened after 7:57 p.m. on Sunday.

Darolyn Alejandra Reyes Rodas, a 19-year-old San Rafael resident, died after a Richmond-San Rafael Bridge crash involving a vehicle that struck a car and rolled over, as confirmed by the Marin County Sheriff’s coroner.
The California Highway Patrol reported that Darolyn Alejandra Reyes Rodas was a passenger in a silver Honda sedan, and the driver began speeding on the bridge.
The Honda then attempted to change lanes halfway across the Richmond-San Rafael Bridge and collided with a white Mazda SUV, traveling at a slower speed.
As a result, the sedan rolled over multiple times, coming to rest within the roadway on its roof.
Unfortunately, the passenger sustained multiple traumatic injuries and was found unconscious and unresponsive inside the vehicle.
Good Samaritans at the scene also stopped, pulled Rodas from the wrecked sedan, and administered CPR. However, she remained unconscious and unresponsive.
Meanwhile, the driver of the Honda sustained significant injuries, and both drivers were transported to a local hospital.
