30-Year-Old Driver Seriously Injured in Lakeside Crash Involving Two Vehicles
Lakeside, CA (March 30, 2023) – A 30-year-old driver from San Diego was seriously injured in a Lakeside crash involving two vehicles. According to The San Diego Union-Tribune, the crash occurred around 5:40 pm on Wednesday.
A 30-year-old driver suffered serious injuries after being involved in a Lakeside crash.
The California Highway Patrol reported a Lakeside crash involving a pickup truck and a sedan on State Route 67.
Due to serious injuries, paramedics had to transport the pickup truck driver to the hospital via ambulance.
The sedan driver was also taken to a hospital for minor injuries.
According to CHP Officer Jared Grieshaber, the sedan driver, a 25-year-old woman from Ramona, was traveling at an unsafe speed during wet road conditions.
This caused her to veer into the path of an oncoming southbound pickup truck.
The pickup truck, driven by a 30-year-old San Diego man, crashed into the sedan’s right side.
Right now, this Lakeside crash remains under investigation. Investigators believe that neither drugs nor alcohol was involved.
