The Los Angeles Police Department reported a downtown Los Angeles crash caused by a fleeing suspect driver on Wilshire Boulevard and Witmer Street.
Two occupants of an uninvolved car were injured. One of them was taken to a hospital for treatment of major injuries.
According to LAPD, a police chase ensued after a reckless driver refused to pull over and ran a red light on Wilshire Boulevard and Witmer Street.
The chase ended when the suspect driver crashed into another car.
Authorities reportedly found large amounts of cash and fentanyl in the suspect driver’s car. They held the suspect driver for evading causing great bodily injury, and transportation and sales of narcotics.
