According to authorities, a southbound vehicle struck the victim as she was attempting to walk across South Carpenter Road. The driver then fled the scene.
The hit-and-run driver’s vehicle is described as a 1997-2004 gray Dodge Dakota with damage on the left front headlamp and body.
