A Minivan Struck a 13-Year-Old Boy near Dallas Ranch Road in Antioch
Antioch, CA (June 11, 2022) – Authorities identified Justin Nartea (13) of Antioch as the fatality in a pedestrian accident near Dallas Ranch Road on Saturday. According to Mercury News, the accident reportedly happened around 8:55 pm.
A boy was crossing the roadway on a skateboard when a minivan headed northbound of Dallas Ranch struck him.
Authorities promptly responded to reports of a collision near Dallas Ranch Road and Prewett Ranch Drive. They found a boy suffering from major injuries when they arrived at the scene.
The boy was pronounced dead at the scene despite first responders’ efforts. Later, he was identified as Justin Nartea, a 13-year-old boy from Antioch.
According to reports, the boy was crossing the roadway on a skateboard when a minivan headed northbound of Dallas Ranch struck him.
The driver of the said minivan stayed at the scene and cooperated with the authorities.
