Lucerne Valley, CA (October 25, 2021) – Gabriela Arcia, 43, was killed in a single-vehicle collision on Cove Road, near Bluebird Lane in San Bernardino County.
The collision was reported around 01:28 a.m. California Highway Patrol and paramedics responded to the scene shortly thereafter. 41 year-old Ernesto Victor Alfaro had been traveling in his white Chevrolet Trailblazer with passenger Gabriela Arcia on Cove Road, when he lost control of the vehicle and they were overturned into the desert.
Police and first responders found Arcia and Alfaro and they were pronounced dead at the scene at 2:06 a.m. It is unknown what events transpired leading up to the crash.
At this time, it is not known if drugs or alcohol are suspected as factors in the deadly crash but the investigation is ongoing.
