Woman Suffered Major Injuries in Menlo Park Pedestrian Crash in San Mateo County
Menlo Park, CA (June 29, 2022) – A Menlo Park pedestrian accident near El Camino Real and Glenwood Avenue left a woman in critical condition in San Mateo County. According to NBC Bay Area, the crash happened on Wednesday morning.
A woman sustained life-threatening injuries after getting hit by a bus in a Menlo Park pedestrian crash.
According to the Menlo Park Police Department, a bus hit a female pedestrian near the El Camino Real and Glenwood Avenue area. Authorities then responded and arrived at the scene. They then took the female pedestrian to a local hospital due to life-threatening injuries.
Authorities later closed El Camino Real’s southbound lanes from Encinal avenue to Glenwood avenue. This part of the roadway then remained closed for around 4-6 hours to allow authorities to work the scene. They later opened the lanes by 7:00 am.
Authorities are still investigating this case. Initially, they couldn’t identify the female pedestrian. However, they could identify her as a missing person from San Mateo. No further details about the case are available.
