Oscar Bejarano Jr., a Passenger, Fatal after a Speeding Car Crashed into a Pasadena Garage
Pasadena, CA (August 13, 2023) – Oscar Bejarano Jr. (21) of North Hills died at the scene of a Pasadena garage crash involving a speeding vehicle. He was a passenger in the vehicle. According to Pasadena Now, the crash occurred just before 2:00 a.m. on Saturday.

The South Pasadena Police Department reported a fatal Pasadena garage crash involving a speeding vehicle that left a passenger fatal and two others severely injured.
Authorities identified the fatality as 21-year-old Oscar Bejarano Jr. of North Hills. He was a backseat passenger of the involved vehicle.
According to reports, a silver 2020 Infiniti driven by a 21-year-old Sun Valley resident named David Silva traveled southbound on the Pasadena Freeway at approximately 100 mph.
As the speeding 2020 Infiniti approached Oliver Street, it reportedly struck several trees, signposts, and bushes before ultimately crashing into a residential garage in the 300 block of Orange Grove Avenue.
Sgt. Craig Phillips of the South Pasadena Police Department said the impact of the crash pushed a parked vehicle through the back wall of the garage.
Silva, the driver, and the other passenger also sustained moderate to severe injuries.
Meanwhile, no one from the Pasadena home sustained injuries in the crash.
