San Jose, CA (July 20, 2023) – One man succumbed to fatal injuries while another man was taken to the hospital in critical condition in a San Jose car crash. According to KTVU, the crash occurred around 1:00 a.m. on Thursday.

According to the police, the crash involved two cars at the intersection of Capitol Expressway and Snell Avenue.

Another vehicle, which was blocked by police cars, appeared to have minor damage.

The police confirmed that alcohol and speed were not factors in this crash.
According to the report, San Jose Mayor Matt Mahan acknowledged the issue of traffic deaths in the city.
Additionally, he expressed support for road improvements, implementing a state-level speed safety camera program, and adding more patrol officers.
This marks the 27th fatal crash and the 28th traffic-related death in San Jose this year.
The collision occurred just one day after a driver struck and killed a baby girl and injured two other pedestrians.
