The impact propelled the victim into the path of an approaching Toyota Camry, which subsequently ran over him, SDPD Officer John Buttle mentioned.
Following the collision, a minivan also rear-ended the Camry.
Unfortunately, the pedestrian succumbed to his injuries at the scene, with no other injuries reported.
