South Lake Tahoe Car Crash Left One Driver Dead and Five Injured in El Dorado County, CA
El Dorado County, CA (July 7, 2023) – One driver succumbed to fatal injuries in a South Lake Tahoe car crash in El Dorado County. Five other victims also sustained significant injuries. According to Yahoo, the accident occurred about 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
A South Lake Tahoe car crash left one driver dead and five others severely injured on South Lake Tahoe on Pioneer Trail, south of Fair Meadow Trail.
The California Highway Patrol responded to a fatal South Lake Tahoe car crash involving a Subaru Impreza and a Tesla Model 3 on South Lake Tahoe on Pioneer Trail, south of Fair Meadow Trail.
The accident resulted in one fatality and five other injured victims.
According to authorities, a Subaru Impreza was traveling northbound with a speed rate of roughly 55 mph and collided with a Tesla heading south at approximately 45 mph.
Paramedics responded to the scene. Unfortunately, the Subaru driver was pronounced dead at Barton Memorial Hospital.
Meanwhile, the 38-year-old Tesla driver sustained significant injuries and was taken to the same hospital.
The driver also had four passengers; authorities brought a 3-year-old boy with severe injuries, a 6-year-old boy, a 75-year-old man, and a 24-year-old woman with moderate injuries to UC Davis Medical Center.
Moreover, the cause of this South Lake Tahoe car crash remains under investigation.
