Fresno County, CA (December 12, 2022) – Ray Rodarte (24) and Ayla Gonzales (24) were identified as the fatalities in a crash involving a freight truck at East North and De Wolf Avenues. According to ABC30, the crash happened after 1:30 pm on Saturday.

The California Highway Patrol reported a fatal crash involving a freight truck at East North and De Wolf Avenues in Fresno County.
Two occupants of the vehicle involved were pronounced dead at the scene. The Fresno County Sheriff’s Office identified the fatalities as Ray Rodarte and Ayla Gonzales.
According to investigators, a Nissan Altima was initially stopped at De Wolf Avenue, then, for unknown reasons, pulled out on the oncoming path of an eastbound freight truck.
The freight truck driver did not report any injuries and remained at the scene to cooperate with the investigation.
