Fresno, CA (April 13, 2023) – Amaya Chenot (22) was identified as the fatality in a T-bone crash involving a tow truck and a car at Friant Road and Shepherd Avenue in Fresno. According to ABC30, the crash occurred before 1:00 am.
Amaya Chenot suffered fatal injuries after a tow truck ran a red light and T-boned her vehicle at Friant Road and Shepherd Avenue in Fresno.
The Fresno Police Department responded to a fatal t-bone crash involving a tow truck and a vehicle at Friant Road and Shepherd Avenue in Fresno.
A woman was pinned and had to be extricated from her vehicle. Unfortunately, she was later pronounced dead at the scene.
Authorities identified the woman as Amaya Chenot of Fresno.
Meanwhile, the tow truck driver did not sustain any injuries.
According to police, Chenot was making a left turn when a northbound tow truck ran a red light and T-boned her car.
Right now, the investigation is still ongoing. No charges have been filed.
