Yorba Linda, CA (July 19, 2022) – A Yorba Linda suspected DUI crash on Imperial Highway near Casa Loma Avenue injured four Orange County sheriff’s deputies. According to the Los Angeles Times, the crash happened around 12:30 am on Tuesday.

According to an Orange County Sheriff’s Department news release, four Orange County sheriff’s deputies sustained minor to moderate injuries after a suspected drunken driver crashed into multiple patrol cars.
Following the crash, paramedics attended to the deputies. All were taken to a hospital to be treated for minor to moderate injuries. Three of them were released by 8:00 am, while the fourth deputy was still hospitalized.
The California Highway Patrol then arrested the suspected drunken driver. According to reports, the driver was headed southbound when he crashed into multiple patrol cars that were stopped for an arrest.
Right now, this crash remains under investigation.
