The incident occurred in the 3500 block of Potomac Avenue, near Obama Boulevard, shortly after 4 p.m. when the Los Angeles Police Department officers engaged in a foot pursuit with the suspect responsible for the felony hit-and-run.
The suspect is described as a Black male, aged approximately 25-35 years, with a robust build and dreadlocks. They last spotted the suspect while wearing a white shirt and light-colored jeans. The LAPD advised the public to consider this individual as armed and dangerous.
