Ceres, CA (October 31, 2022) – Giovani Gomez (22) was identified as the fatality in a pedestrian on Service Road in Ceres. According to The Modesto Bee, the accident occurred around 7:00 pm on Friday.
Giovani Gomez sustained fatal injuries following a pedestrian accident on Service Road in Ceres.
The California Highway Patrol reported a fatal pedestrian accident involving a pickup and a pedestrian on Service Road in Ceres.
When responders arrived, they took the pedestrian to Doctors Medical Center. Unfortunately, he later succumbed to his injuries. The Stanislaus County Coroner’s Office identified the pedestrian as Giovani Gomez of Ceres.
According to authorities, Gomez was struck by a westbound pickup while walking in the roadway. The driver reportedly pulled over right away and called 911.
The driver did not sustain any injuries.
