Motorcyclist Thrown Off and Injured after National City Hit-and-Run
National City, CA (February 21, 2023) – A motorcyclist was hospitalized after sustaining injuries following a National City hit-and-run on Interstate 5. According to 10News, the crash was reported before 11:14 pm on Monday.
A motorcyclist suffered injuries after a National City hit-and-run. A search is launched to locate the driver responsible for the crash.
California Highway Patrol officers responded to reports of a National City hit-and-run on southbound I-5 involving a motorcyclist and a sedan.
Responding officers found an injured motorcycle rider on the roadway. An ambulance that happened to drive by provided aid and transported the victim to a hospital.
According to witnesses, a car struck the rider and continued driving. The crash then caused the victim to be thrown into the middle lanes.
A search is reportedly underway to locate the driver and vehicle responsible for this National City hit–and–run.
A witness was also able to provide the vehicle’s license plate.
