Walnut, CA (December 1, 2022) – Ralph Barragan (63), a tram driver for disabled students, was identified as the fatality in a pedestrian crash on a campus parking lot in Walnut. According to KTLA, the crash occurred around 7:30 am.

The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department reported a fatal collision involving a pedestrian and a vehicle at a parking lot in Mt. San Antonio College.
Paramedics found a male pedestrian unresponsive at the scene, he was then pronounced dead. They later identified the victim as Ralph Barragan, a tram driver for disabled students at Mt. San Antonio College.
The driver, only described as a man in his 30s, reportedly struck the victim on a walkway near the staff parking lot. He was later found at a bus stop a few feet away from his vehicle. Responders also took the driver to a local hospital for undisclosed injuries.
However, authorities have determined through their investigation that the collision might have been intentional and targeted.
Right now, the relationship between the victim and the driver is still unclear.
