Ronald Frank Gupton Died at the Scene of a Pedestrian Accident on Amtrak Train Grover Beach Station
Grover Beach, CA (January 3, 2022) – Ronald Frank Gupton (55) of Arroyo Grande was identified as the fatality in a pedestrian accident involving an Amtrak train. According to KEYT, the crash was reported around 5:00 pm on December 5, 2022.
Ronald Frank Gupton was reportedly attempting to retrieve an object when the accident involving an Amtrak train happened.
The San Luis Obispo County Coroner’s Office identified the victim in a pedestrian accident involving an Amtrak train at the Grover Beach Train Station.
The victim was identified as Ronald Frank Gupton of Arroyo Grande.
According to Grover Beach PD’s press release, Gupton attempted to retrieve an object and stepped off the platform when he was fatally struck by an Amtrak train.
They found him dead at the scene.
Authorities expressed their condolences to the victim’s family and friends.
