Fresno, CA (January 5, 2023) – A female pedestrian was transported to a hospital after sustaining serious injuries in a pedestrian accident in Del Rey and Herndon avenues. According to ABC30, the crash occurred around 5:20 pm on Wednesday.

Responders airlifted the pedestrian to a local hospital due to serious injuries. The victim was only identified as a woman in her 80s.
According to investigators, a vehicle struck the woman while she was crossing the street to her mailbox. The driver then stopped and cooperated with the authorities.
Authorities determined that drugs or alcohol were not involved in this accident.
