Samuel Juarez Rivera Succumbed to Injuries in Long Beach Hit-and-Run Crash
Long Beach, CA (November 14, 2022) – Samuel Juarez Rivera (71) was identified as the fatality in a hit-and-run crash on Anaheim Street and Walnut Avenue in Long Beach. According to City News Service, the crash occurred on November 4 around 6:25 am.
Samuel Juarez Rivera died of injuries sustained in a hit-and-run crash in Long Beach earlier this month.
The Long Beach Police Department reported a fatality following a hit-and-run crash involving a bicyclist on Anaheim Street and Walnut Avenue.
The bicyclist recently succumbed to injuries sustained in the crash. He was identified as Samuel Juarez Rivera of Long Beach.
According to authorities, a westbound white sedan struck Rivera and fled the scene without rendering aid.
Currently, detectives are still determining whether speed, distracted or impaired driving played a factor in the crash. They are also determining if the driver ran a red light.
