Steven Ornelas and Oryan Ornelas Killed in Car Crash on East Briggsmore Avenue in Modesto
Modesto, CA (May 23, 2022) – Steven Ornelas (31) and Oryan Ornelas (25) from Ceres died after getting involved in a car accident on East Briggsmore Avenue near Oakdale Road in Modesto. According to ABC 10, the incident happened at around 1:20 am on Sunday.
Cousins Steven Ornelas and Oryan Ornelas both died after their Chevy Tahoe crashed near Oakdale Road.
According to authorities, cousins Steven and Oryan rode a 2004 Chevrolet Tahoe heading eastbound on East Briggsmore Avenue. Then, the Tahoe’s driver lost control of the vehicle, which caused it to go over into westbound lanes.
At the moment, it’s unclear which of the two occupants was driving the Chevy. Both Steven and Oryan then got thrown off the Tahoe because of the impact.
Officers arrived at the scene and found the vehicle overturned near the road’s canal. Right now, authorities are still investigating the accident. Further information about the crash is currently unavailable.
