Palm Springs, CA (February 2, 2023) –A 57-year-old woman suffered life-threatening injuries after being struck in a Palm Springs DUI crash. According to KESQ, the crash occurred around 8:30 pm on Wednesday.

Authorities found an unresponsive woman in the roadway following a Palm Springs DUI crash near Tahquitz Canyon and Sunrise Way.
The victim, only identified as a 57-year-old woman, reportedly suffered life-threatening injuries. She is currently in critical condition.
Meanwhile, the driver of the vehicle involved was then arrested and booked into John Benoit Detention Center in Indio with a $50,000 bail. Police determined that he showed signs of being under the influence at the time of the crash.
This incident remains under investigation.
