Fresno, CA (July 24, 2023) – A 29-year-old male pedestrian succumbed to fatal injuries following a Fresno hit-and-run crash. According to The Fresno Bee, the crash occurred around 10:30 pm on Friday.

The California Highway Patrol responded to a fatal Fresno hit-and-run crash involving a 29-year-old man.
A pedestrian, only identified as a 29-year-old man, died at the scene.
According to CHP, the man was hit by an unknown vehicle as he walked west on Dudley Avenue. This caused him to be thrown off to the north shoulder of Dudley Avenue.
The driver then reportedly fled the scene. The detectives are currently searching for the hit-and-run driver.
It also remains unclear whether alcohol or drugs played a role in the accident.
Police determined the vehicle involved as a 2017-2019 Chevrolet Trax through the evidence at the scene.
