Long Beach, CA (October 07, 2021) – Jaizell Mabin, 26, was killed as a pedestrian on the Pacific Coast Highway, near Lewis Ave in Los Angeles County.
The collision was reported around 05:50 a.m. Long Beach Police Department and paramedics responded to the scene shortly thereafter. The man was crossing southbound when he was struck by a 2009 Honda Pilot traveling eastbound.
When police and first responders found him, he was pronounced dead at the scene. Impaired or distracted driving were not determined to be a factor in this collision but the investigation into the circumstances of the accident is still underway.
