Monterey Park, CA (May 25, 2023) – Alexandra Olener (28) was identified as the fatality in a hit-and-run accident in Monterey Park. According to KNX News, the crash occurred around 1:38 a.m. on Saturday.

The Los Angeles Coroner’s Office reported a hit-and-run accident in Monterey Park, which left a 28-year-old pedestrian dead.
The fatality was identified as 28-year-old Alexandra Olener.
According to Sgt. Arlene Chaidez of the Monterey Park Police Department, authorities responded to the accident at Atlantic Boulevard near the Pomona (60) Freeway overpass, where the victim was lying in the middle of the northbound roads.
Police officers concluded that the Olener was struck by an unknown driver who left the accident scene after causing the casualty.
Chaidez mentioned, “The subject was unresponsive and appeared to have been struck by an unknown vehicle.”
Unfortunately, the victim died at the scene due to blunt traumatic injuries.
