When first responders arrived, a woman was pronounced dead at the scene. They also confirmed that the woman succumbed to fatal injuries sustained in the collision.
Authorities later identified the victim as Andrea Zerlina Salinas of San Diego.
According to authorities, a vehicle driven by an unidentified male failed to stop at the intersection and struck Salinas.
The male driver was then taken to an area hospital due to serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
